Got ya beat. One of the guys I work with is supposed to bring his four kids out to the house tomorrow to go fishing. I went to hook up the 10 foot cut brush mower, and while I was doing so, Lisa smelled something burning. When she got off the tractor to give me a hand, she called me to come up front, quick. There were flames licking up off of the motor, and starting to get out of the hood openings. Not cool, the tractor in question is an early 1960s John Deere 1020 UL, a GAS burner. She went and got a bucket of water, we put out the fire, popped the hood, and what did we find? A birds nest with two eggs in it sitting between the valve cover and the exhuast manifold. When it got hot, the nest started to smolder and POOF. Luckily, no damage to the tractor. I can't afford to replace it right now. Lisa's brother said that is the first tractor fire out here in the 42 years the family has owned the farm. Oh well, got the access roads to the pond cut anyway, maybe it will help keep the kids from surprising a copperhead, timber rattler or water mocassin, it is snake breeding season, and we have a lot of snakes around this spring.
As for getting Deltron in a rattle can, way to go! Now, do they make Kubota orange? I know they make every other tractor color under the sun, and since that is close to 98 Savage orange, I figure I ought as well spring for the good stuff.
